GEOL 412 Sedimentary Petrology
A petrographic approach to the classification and genetic interpretation of sedimentary rocks. Terrigenous sandstones and carbonate rocks will be emphasized with lesser stress on mud rocks and non-carbonate chemical rocks. Prerequisite: GEOL 201, 220, 310 or permission of the department chairperson.
