GEOG 250 Spatial Analytical Methods

Serves as a basic introduction to the quantitative methods employed by geographers to describe, analyze and interpret geospatial datasets. Lecture topics will include basic descriptive statistics, hypothesis formulation and testing, sampling strategies, geographical association and correlation analysis, regression, and a multivariate statistics overview. Prerequisite: MATH 108 or 111 or 112 or 125 or 132 or 161 or 162 or 165 or 166. Open only to geography majors and minors.
