BIO 344 Immunology

Examination of the basic principles of the immune system (components, responses, and regulation). This course will introduce basic concepts of immunology and discuss the role of immune function on the science and health community. The course will cover the basic concepts of immunology in a manner that facilitates an understanding of the complexity of field and the role of the immune system in infection and disease. Emphasis will be placed on human and murine immune systems. Prerequisite: BIO 215 or 313.
