AFA 317 Encaustics
Studio exercises, problems, and critiques in relation to the ancient medium of encaustic (hot wax) painting. Develop technical skills with an emphasis on contemporary individual creative solutions. Prerequisite: AFA 211. A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term. Open only to art majors.
