GEOG 549 Synoptic Meteorology

Investigation of synoptic- and mesobeta-scale atmospheric systems, with a focus on analysis and forecasting through the use of satellite, radar, and numerical weather predication technology. Prerequisite: GEOG 330 or 530; MATH 165; PHYC 120; or permission of the instructor. Not open to students who have credit in GEOG 449.
