SPCE 240 Introduction to Sign Systems, Educational Environments, and Services
Introduces a variety of sign systems (cued speech, visual phonics, Signed Exact English, and others), educational environments and services across the continuum provided to deaf/hard of hearing individuals. These will be discussed through different philosophical and historical perspectives.
Prerequisite: SPCE 200 or SPCE 201 (SPCE 201 for deaf and special education majors only).
