DANC 430 Jazz 4
A continuing study of jazz dance technique at the intermediate/advanced level. Emphasis is placed on technical precision, increased complexity of turns and leaps, musicality, performance artistry, and stylistic execution.
Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson; successful completion of a placement examination.
Only open to Theatre majors with a Musical Theatre concentration and Dance majors.
A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 2 in any one semester or term.
