DANC 220 Contemporary Dance Forms 2
This class is designed to further develop each student’s training in modern dance with attention given to various principles of the body including alignment, placement, spatial awareness, strength, flexibility, coordination, and connections in movement. Personal expression, use of imagery, kinetic and spatial awareness are also examined.
Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson; successful completion of a placement examination.
Only open to Theatre majors with a Musical Theatre concentration and Dance majors.
A total of 6 credits may be earned, but no more than 2 in any one semester or term.
