CJC 101 Introduction to American Criminal Justice System
This course provides an overview of the history, nature, and function of the criminal justice system in America. Special attention is given to the philosophical basis underlying this system and to the problems associated with crime control in a democratic society. At each stage of the process, major issues confronting the system are examined.
