CHEM 420 Chemical Instrumentation 1
Theoretical principles and applications of selected optical spectroscopic, mass spectroscopic, electrochemical, thermal, and chromatographic methods of chemical analysis with illustrative experiments. Two hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory period weekly.
Prerequisite: CHEM 225; either CHEM 230 or CHEM 231 with a minimum grade of C-; or permission of the department chairperson
