ASTR 122 Stellar Evolution, Galaxies, and Cosmology

Introduction to the physical processes that govern the structure and evolution of galaxies and the Universe.  Topics include stellar evolution, the Milky Way Galaxy, galaxies, quasars, active galactic nuclei (AGN), super massive black holes, large scale structure of the Universe and cosmology. 

Prerequisite or parallel: MATH 111 or MATH 112 or MATH 113 or permission of the instructor. 

Not open to students who have credit in ASTR 332.
