ARCH 241 Introduction to Social Justice in Design

Introduces students to social justice issues in the design of the built environment as related to human rights, social equity, dignity, status, stigma, marginalization, discrimination and several other aspects of justice. Students focus on how social justice issues are embodied in our existing environments in order to build a foundational understanding of how to design for a more equitable future.

Open only to students in the following programs: Bachelor of Architecture, BA/BS in Architecture, and BA/BS in Environmental Design.
