Minor in Neuroscience
The interdisciplinary Neuroscience Minor will provide students with foundational knowledge on the organization, development, and function of the nervous system and how this relates to behavior and cognition. The Minor is composed of courses in psychology, biology, mathematics, philosophy, and speech pathology.
Students must complete at least 9 unique credit hours not used to satisfy the requirements of another major, minor, or certificate.
15 credits
Neuroscience Minor Core Course, 3 credits
Students may take either PSYS 367 OR PHYS 420.
Neuroscience Minor Electives, 12 credits
Students must choose courses from at least two different disciplines.
Because PSYS 495 is variable-topic course, chairperson approval is needed for the course to count toward the Neuroscience minor.
