Minor in Tourism Geography

The minor in Tourism Geography gives students insight into the global tourism system. Students learn about the movement of people, the diversity of places and cultures near and far, and the assorted impacts of tourism. Minors gain skills necessary for careers in the tourism sector, including tour leadership, tourism planning, and travel booking. This minor complements many major across campus, including Hospitality Food Management, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Communication Studies, Modern Languages and Classics, and Business.
