DSCI 679 Research Topics in Data Science
The research topics course provides students in the M.S. in Data Science program an immersive learning opportunity. Students will apply their knowledge of the foundations, theory and methods of data science to address data driven problems through research/investigation projects. The research project typically addresses the statistical, computational, and the domain specific challenges from health, environmental, social, and biological sciences or any other relevant field of interest. Permission of the instructor required.
Note: A total of only 6 hours of combined DSCI 669 and DSCI 679 credit may be earned in the Master of Science in Data Science program.
