The Department of Communication Studies offers graduate programs in:

Communication Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS)

Organizational and Professional Communication Development (OPCD)

Students pursue advanced study in rhetorical studies, interpersonal communication, and organizational communication. The master of arts in communication studies may serve as a terminal degree or as preparation for additional graduate study. The master of arts degree in communication studies is generally completed in two years.

The Department of Communication Studies offers an Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP) for students completing undergraduate degrees at Ball State University.
