The Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) offers a Master of Science in Information and Communications Systems (MSICS) and a Master of Arts (MA) Career and Technical Education (CTE).

The Master MSICS is a career catalyst for developing technology leaders at every level. The program is the intersection of technology, business and leadership to prepare them to lead companies and organizations in the information economy. The MSICS includes an intensive, hands-on environment of interactive classrooms, well-equipped labs, industry-sponsored projects, and professional social learning opportunities.

The MA in CTE is a 100-percent online master’s degree. It is a 30 credit hour program with no thesis required. The program offers flexible curriculum year round and is designed for those interested in Career and Technical Education (formerly known as vocational education) or Family and Consumer Sciences as well as for those who aspire to teach at the community college level, serve as a non-licensed or licensed administrator, work as a curriculum director, a technology leader, or as a computer technician. There are eight tracks available, and a customizable track designed to fit specific needs.
