The School of Kinesiology offers academic programs in aquatics, exercise science, sport administration, and physical education and health (all-grade teaching). In addition, minors are available in aquatics, coaching, kinesiology, scuba, sport administration and sport and exercise psychology. An exit assessment must be completed by students in all academic programs in the School.

The University Core Curriculum requirement in physical fitness and wellness is delivered by the School and consists of one PFW course (2 credits). Students are not permitted to substitute athletics, band, or similar activities for the physical fitness and wellness University Core Curriculum requirement.
