MATH 666 Unpaid Professional Experience in Mathematical Sciences

Supervised unpaid work and learning experience as a practicing mathematician, statistician, or actuarial scientist. Practical problem-solving experience will be gained through an internship, practicum, or other such situation.

Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson.

A total of 8 credits may be earned in MATH 666 and MATH 667 combined.

No more than 3 credits can be counted as electives toward a departmental major or minor.

Offered credit/no credit only.
