Students will take ENG 605 for 6 credits.  ENG 605 is to be taken once as “Composition” and a second time as “Literature.” So students will take 12 hours in this section, also including ENG 607 and ENG 693.

3 credits in each of the following areas:

(must include at least 3 credits of American Literature)

Literature to 1700;

Literature 1700-1800;

Literature 1800-1900;

Literature 1900-present.

Two courses in Diverse Literatures; International, Ethnic American, Gender, other
