MDIA 499 Applied Media Production
Each seminar class will offer a variety of opportunities for students to hone their skills while working on a specific topic, or topics, throughout the semester. Emphasis on creating media for external distribution. The seminar may emphasize one particular technology, such as audio, video, or multimedia, or a combination, depending on the project.
Prerequisite: 6 credit hours must be completed from the following courses: MDIA 333 or TCOM 333, MDIA 334 or TCOM 334, MDIA 336, MDIA 337, MDIA 338, MDIA 339, MDIA 350 or TCOM 350, MDIA 351 or TCOM 351, MDIA 433 or TCOM 433, MDIA 434 or TCOM 434, MDIA 436 or TCOM 436, MDIA 449, MDIA 450 or TCOM 450, MDIA 451 with a minimum grade of C in each.
A maximum of 9 credit hours may be earned but no more than 6 credits in any one semester or term.
Open to approved Media and Telecommunications majors and minors.
