MDIA 449 Motion Graphics and Media Storytelling
Students in Motion Graphics and Storytelling deepen their skills in and knowledge of 2D animation, graphic design, and multimedia content development. Course projects emphasize creativity, storytelling, and visual/aural aesthetics. Projects strengthen software skills and emphasize cross-application workflows. Advanced class tutorials dive deep into compositing, color theory, special effects, 3D space, and keyframing. Students produce professional content for streaming, sharing, social media, broadcast television, and theatrical platforms.
Prerequisite: MDIA 350 or TCOM 350 with a minimum grade of C.
Open only to approved Media or Telecommunications majors or minors.
