BIO 430 Conservation Biology
Conservation Biology is the field that seeks to study and protect the living world and its biological diversity (or biodiversity in its shortened form). This field emerged during the mid-1980’s as a major new discipline to address the alarming loss of biological diversity. Conservation Biology is the scientific discipline that brings together people and knowledge from many different fields to address the biodiversity crisis.
Prerequisite: BIO 111 and BIO 112 and BIO 216 or their equivalents or by permission of the instructor.
