SOCW 611 Social Work Practice 1
Provides the foundation for social work practice using empathy, personal reflection, self-regulation, and professional self-care. Builds critical thinking and interpersonal skills as students practice engaging, assessing, intervening, and evaluating outcomes with individuals, families, and groups. Heavy emphasis on knowledge, values, and skills involved in ethical and effective social work practice.
