TCOM 307 Television Studies
Addresses the cultural, social, and political impact of television through audience theory, genre theory, and visual studies. Students will watch programs critically, engage in discussions of current theory, and write analyses of programming. Topics vary by semester.
Prerequisite: TCOM 101 or JOUR 101, TCOM 204, 206, 207, and 284 with a minimum grade of C in each.
Open only to approved telecommunications majors and minors.
