POLS 241 Family Law
The focus of this course is on legal issues that arise in domestic relationships. Topics covered include marriage, divorce, child custody, support, and adoption. Students will complete a number of service-learning hours volunteering with a community partner organization that deals with issues of family law.
Prerequisite: Permission of department chairperson or legal studies coordinator.
