NUR 783 Primary Care 3

Focuses on the comprehensive application of clinical decision making for the family nurse practitioner in providing primary health care across the lifespan within a family practice framework. Emphasis is on health promotion, disease prevention, health education, and treatment of common acute and chronic conditions in adult patients. This course is a continuation of NUR 781 content.

Prerequisite: NUR 782 with a B or higher.
