CPSY 644 Practicum in Counseling
Supervised experience that includes counseling with one or more of the following populations: children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families under the supervision of a professional counselor. Practical experience with the delivery of mental health services including conducting intake assessments and record keeping. Prerequisite: CPSY 606, min grade B; and either CPSY 605, min grade C ; CPSY 603 or SCCO 600 with a min grade of C; permission of the department chairperson. Prerequisite or parallel: CPSY 621, min grade C. Open only to counseling psychology, social psychology, and counseling masters students; other graduate students by permission.
