THEA 331 Creative Drama and Movement For Youth
The course explores creative applications of theatre, drama, movement, and dance in youth educational spaces. This includes Creative Drama and Creative Movement pedagogical practices for youth ages 0 to 12 years old in pre-primary, elementary, or children’s theatre environments. Topics include lesson creation, developmentally appropriate engagement practices, and contemporary practitioners of the forms.
Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in THEA 250 or THEA 251 or EDPS 260 or EDPS 251 or EDPS 254 or EDPS 350.
