MUST 100 Fundamentals of Music Theory

Teaches the foundations of reading and writing music using modern staff notation. Through popular, folk, and classical examples from the past three centuries, students learn pitch notation, scales, key signatures, intervals, rhythm and meter, chord construction, and musical terminology. Emphasizes features common to all types of music and develops skills for understanding music from both written and aural perspectives.
