ASTR 100 Introductory Astronomy: A Study of the Solar System and Beyond

The course addresses the study of the physical nature of objects in the universe and the methods used by astronomers to understand them. It also provides an overview of the techniques used to acquire the knowledge of how we know what we know about the universe. Topics include history, basic laws of nature, the solar system, stars, nebulae, galaxies and cosmology.
