Focuses on social scientific inquiry as a way of knowing in the context of media and strategic communication. Students examine theories and methods of inquiry in social science. Students explore theoretical perspectives and research methods from media communication, advertising, and public relations, focusing on their relevance to strategic communication. The course additionally introduces applied research in the context of media and strategic communication.
