A seminar for Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students. Seminar topics will focus on core courses, FNP, nurse executive, and nurse educator themes. Topics can include, but may not be limited to: theory-based models, health care informatics, professional roles, communication, interprofessional collaboration, ethics, legal issues, organizational and systems leadership, healthcare delivery, nursing program curricular design, course development, use of technology, teaching in nursing, and nursing program assessment and evaluation. Students work with advisors to select seminar topics for their individualized plan of study. Open only to Post-Master’s DNP students. Up to 10 credits may be earned.
