The Master of Arts in Journalism focuses on professional-skills training in advanced journalistic storytelling, social media, content strategy, and emerging media technologies. The two-year graduate program includes courses in media theory, sociology of news, and research methods to prepare students to enter and to progress within journalism and communications fields, to achieve leadership positions, and to pursue doctoral education opportunities. Program requirements include a minimum grade of C or better in each graduate course.
