NUR 786 Transition into Advanced Practice and Entrepreneurship

Focuses on the transition into advanced practice with an emphasis on quality management, legal, policy and economic issues, and entrepreneurship. The advanced practice nurse as entrepreneur is explored. Students evaluate nurse-led service innovations with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention as core business functions.

Prerequisite: NUR 785 with a B or higher.
