ARCH 653 Introduction to Social and Environmental Justice

Introduces students to social and environmental justice issues in the design of the built environment as related to human rights, social equity, dignity, status, stigma, marginalization, discrimination and several other aspects of justice. Students focus on how these issues are embodied in the environment, reflecting and reinforcing the nature of power relations in society.
