ACC 645 Sustainability Accounting and Accountability

This course introduces students to sustainability accounting and accountability theory and practice. Content emphasizes the information corporations produce to inform investors, creditors, and other stakeholders about their sustainability activities and their impact. Students assess the completeness, relevance, and reliability of such information and use it to evaluate corporate performance. The course is designed for both accounting students and others who are interested in understanding sustainability and sustainability accounting. Open only to MS in accounting majors or by permission of the department chair.
