Minor in Social Psychology
The minor in social psychology offers students an overview of the major content areas within social psychology. Our classes explore both classic and contemporary research, with a focus on both theory and application. The 15 hour minor allows students the flexibility to tailor their program of study to match their research and applied interests. Admission to the program requires having completed 15 hours of undergraduate courses in psychology or related fields (e.g., Anthropology; Sociology; Management) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or be granted permission from the chair for the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling.
