THEA 150 Introduction to Theatre Education
Explores the theory and practice of teaching theatre in the middle and secondary schools and in alternative programs like professional theatres or museums which feature interpreters. Provides classroom opportunities for beginning theatre students to determine what it means to be a theatre teacher, using creative dramatics tools and applied theatre education mini-lessons to explore the world of the successful theatre educator.
Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson.
