SOC 450 Sociology of Education
Focuses on current theory and research in the sociology of education. Topics include the role of education in stratification, cross-cultural comparisons of educational systems, and the organization and culture of schools. (May not be used as a substitute for EDFO 420.)
Prerequisite: SOC 100 plus 6 SOC credits, or permission of the instructor.
