JOUR 497 Public Media Immersion
Students will professionally engage in short- and long-term immersive journalistic projects under the supervision of instructional faculty/media professionals to address issues of civic importance to East Central Indiana communities. Students project teams will engage in (1) journalistic reporting and/or (2) development of story forms, news platforms, multimedia apps, and other digital assets. Projects teams may include a variety of skill sets, including writers, editors, graphic designers, photographers, and others as appropriate to the project. A total of 12 credits may be earned. Requires permission.
