ENG 421 History of the Book
Introduces students to the history of written communication in all its material forms (from petroglyphs and cave drawings to print and Ebooks) and how those forms have influenced the interpretation of literature. The history of the book encompasses the rise of printing, book production and ownership, material text studies, and literacy world-wide.
