ECYF 360 Advanced Community Engagement and the Work of Social Justice
This course emphasizes the imperative of understanding the context from which children and families come as fundamental to human services work. With an emphasis on the cultural wealth of marginalized and minoritized communities, this course examines the historical, social, political, and cultural contexts which shape and maintain inequity. Students learn to evaluate culturally responsive and community sustaining approaches and engage in the generation of solutions for a more just society.
