EDPS 607 Global Perspectives on Child Development
An advanced course on child and adolescent development in the non-Western cultures, covering topics such as childrearing practices; adolescents' rites of passage; adolescent popularity and bullying; self-concept and identity development. Content based on current cross-cultural theories and research will be discussed, along with the applications of this information for professionals working within a global society.
