DSCI 606 Introduction to Cloud Computing
Provides students with a solid understanding of the concepts, capabilities, and underlying technologies of cloud computing, which enables students to effectively evaluate and exploit the business and technical benefits of cloud-based solutions. In addition, hands-on experience through projects exposes students to the application programming interfaces offered by leading cloud providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure) and teaches students how to build and deploy powerful and efficient data-intensive applications in the cloud.
