Role and obligations of the communication consultant. Emphasizes process consulting, consultation models, interpersonal and team decision-making skills, practical communication analysis, problem diagnosis, intervention strategies, client approach alternatives, and implementation strategies.

Prerequisite: COMM 601 or permission of the director of graduate studies or department chairperson.
