MUHI 305 Popular Music and Society Since 1940
A survey of popular music styles, techniques, and genres, primarily in the United States, with a special emphasis on the origins, development, evolution, and current state of rock and roll. The mutual influence between the music and concurrent social events will be a primary consideration.
