ENGR 311 Kinematics and Robotics

An in-depth study is made of mechanisms such as the slider-crank and four-bar linkage. Cams and gears are studied in the context of their use in machines. Analysis of position, velocity, and acceleration are studied with relative applications to mechanisms and machines primarily using vectors. Dynamics is studied in two- and three-dimensional space with an emphasis on application in the area of robotics.
