CPSY 604 Issues in Addiction and Recovery
Issues in addiction and recovery is an introduction and general overview to the major areas of substance abuse counseling and behavioral syndromes. This course will focus on areas of pharmacology, neurology, assessment, treatment, protocol documentation, and recovery and aftercare methods. The course will also review gender, developmental, group and family counseling dynamics, public policy, criminal justice and program administration.
