THEA 317 Pre-Modern Theatre History to 1700
Study of the theatre from its ancient origins up to 1700, with emphasis on the material conditions of theatrical production, dramatic/performance theory, and representative dramatic literature.
Prerequisite: permission of the department chairperson.
